About Aimee

My Values

I strongly believe in empowering young people. My greatest aim is to help young people tap into their innate resilience and celebrate their successes. I truly believe that my clients have unique insight into their own experiences, and I aim to give young people as much autonomy as possible within their therapeutic journey. I strive to create an atmosphere of empowerment within the therapy room, where each step towards progress is considered a victory.

Qualifications and Training

I am a Child and Adolescent CBT Therapist specialising in anxiety and mood disorders. Completing my Postgraduate Diploma in CBT for young people through King’s College London, I treated young people within Barnet CAMHS experiencing moderate to severe anxiety and low mood. Previously, I studied in UCL and the Open University (Psychology Bsc), and King’s College London (PgCert in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health). Alongside my practice, I am part of the Emotional Health Team at Bikur Cholim D’Satmar London, providing therapy to young adults within the ultra-orthodox Jewish community.
